Dream Poem 64: 1260° stoneware

At college I go down to the basement to the pottery room B64.
Lots of people are busy making ceramics
This is my room
My ceramics room.

I have a long conversation about which temperatures
and I’m insisting
“ I want it at 1260° stoneware“
the others don’t understand what this means
or what it does to the ceramics.
It means that the pot will become stoneware,
like a stone
It will be very strong, impermeable to water
Almost unbreakable.

I have a sculpted head I want to fire.
A difficult girl with blue hair
and a full sleeve tattoo
is playing the guitar.
I have to persuade her to do something,

to do some work.
