Dream Poem 46: Life Guards At the pool, A poster is asking for trainee lifeguards But only men need apply. Two of us women read the notice and were outraged. A couple of shady guys hire us for their new pool. Something unpleasant about them, untrustworthy. We started working as lifeguards But soon the men became bored of us and the pool And have moved on to a new venture Leaving us and the pool.
